Consultancy Services for DPR, Design, Tendering, and Working Drawings – Karanj STP Augmentation (East Drainage Zone-A)

Appointed as the Consultant for preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR), Design, Estimate, Tender Document, Tender Evaluation, and Working Drawings for the augmentation and rehabilitation of the existing 140 MLD Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at Karanj, increasing its capacity to 211 MLD. The project is a key part of Surat’s infrastructure enhancement under its urban sanitation upgrade plan.

Scope of Work:

  • Preparation of DPR, Design, and Estimate for capacity expansion from 140 MLD to 211 MLD.
  • Tender Documentation & Evaluation, including 10 years of Operation & Maintenance planning.
  • Tertiary Treatment Design with integration of Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR), SBR, IFAS, and advanced filtration systems.
  • Rehabilitation of Existing Units and addition of new units, with structural and process optimization.
  • Design of Street Lighting, Instrumentation, Monitoring and Control Systems.
  • Automation via PLC–SCADA, including data integration with Surat Municipal Corporation’s central SCADA facility.
